Helen particularily enjoys singing in small vocal ensembles. She is a regular member of Vox Luminis, a young soloist ensemble, with which she has recorded the Stabat Mater by D.Scarlatti, a 2007 recording which has been very warmly received (see discography). In 2009 she recorded a second album with Vox Luminis, with vocal music by Samuel Scheidt.
She has performed with other ensembles such Psallentes (H.Vanden Abeele), an all-female gregorian chant ensemble, Il Nostromo del Sogno, a medieval music ensemble, Ex Tempore (F.Heyerick), the Euterpe Baroque Consort (A.Arthur), and Octopus Solisten (B. Van Reyn), baroque music ensembles, and Encantar, a female vocal quartet specialising in Renaissance music.
Helen often sings as a soloist and ensemble singer with the Solistes du Choeur de Chambre de Namur. As a soloist, and conducted by Jean Tubéry, she participated in a production with music by Carissimi, which was offered live on Radio-France, and then recorded by Cypres in 2005 (see discography). In 2006 she participated in a recording of Belgian Renaissance composer Lambert de Sayve, for Ricercar (see discography). In 2007, a production of Pachelbel’s music was recorded by Belgian television (see video) and then also by Ricercar (see discography), and a programme around Gabrieli (Natale Veneziano) was recorded in Lyon for mezzo TV.
