Helen has sung in choirs all her life. She started in the Coro Villa de Las Rozas and the Coro de la Universidad Politécnica in Madrid. During her studies at Royal Holloway she sung with the Royal Holloway Chapel Choir, Chamber Choir, Chorus and Schola Cantorum.
In 2003 Helen joined the Choeur de Chambre de Namur, conducted by Jean Tubéry, and has been a fixed member ever since. She also sings regularily with the Vlaams Radio Koor (S. Edwards, B.Pope), Studium Chorale Maastricht (H.Leenders), the Nederlandse Bach Vereniging (J. Van Veldhoven) and Arsys-Bourgogne (P.Cao). She has performed major choral works by Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Pachelbel, Schütz, J.S.Bach, Handel, Purcell, Marais, Zelenka, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Fauré, Debussy, Duruflé, Honneger, Dvorak, Britten, Howells, Orff, Stravinsky, Stockhausen, Berio, Francesconi, Pärt, Copland, Adams, Zappa, ... she has worked with conductors such as Paul Dombrecht, Guy Van Waas, Patrick Davin, Wim Becu, Patrick Peire, Florian Heyerick, Philippe Herreweghe, Philippe Pierlot, Jean-Paul Dessy, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Eduardo López Banzo, Ed Spanjard, Erik Van Nevel, Michel Tabachnik, Jos Van Veldhoven, Sigiswald Kuijken, Leonardo García Alarcón, Lavard Skou Larsen, Peter Van Heyghen, Luca Guglielmi, Masaaki Suzuki, ... and has so far sung in Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, England, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Finland and Malta.
